Get Ready for Your
FRAMERS with K&D
Black and white portraits are simply stunning, and you can make them looking even better by wearing clothes that compliment their simplicity. Below are our best tips to help us create FRAMERS photos you’ll love to see hanging in your home, every day.
Pick One of These 3 Simple Options
We suggest one of three options when it comes to your children’s FRAMERS outfits: solid darks, solid lights, or big patterns.
Sticking with those really brings out the contrast of the black and white portraits, and anything else takes attention away from the personality of your kid that we capture. Anything outside of that usually takes away from Solid colors and clothes are preferred.
If you want light and airy looking photos, wear whites or creams. If you want more contrast, wear blacks or dark tones. Please avoid middle of the road colors (such as red, green, blue, yellow, etc.) that end up look bland and grey when edited in black & white.
Option 1: Go Light
If you want light and airy looking photos, wear solid whites or creams. Avoid lighter tones of colors, such as sky blue, light grey, pastels, and so on—they appear washed out and not complimentary to the black and white aesthetic.
Also, please no words or printed graphics.
Make it stand out
Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
